  1. One broad plural ending family Prepositional plural is much more regular than genitive plural: use -ах after hard stems and -ях after soft or /j/-related stems.
  2. Hard stems in -ах Gender does not matter; the final quality of the plural stem guides -ах.
  3. Soft and /j/-related stems in -ях Nouns in -й, soft -ь, ordinary -я, and -ие typically form -ях on the plural stem.
