Class II present forms use the -и-centred family.
- я may show -ю/-у
- они may show -ят/-ат
- ты and они are strong diagnostics

How do I know which type a verb is?
The infinitive is a clue, not a guarantee. Finite forms are the safest diagnostic.
- Many -ить verbs are Type II
- Some -ать, -ять, and -еть verbs are also Type II
- Type II diagnostic: ты -ишь and они -ят/-ат
