Feminine -ая and -яя
Feminine nominative singular separates the ordinary hard and genuinely soft patterns clearly.
- Most feminine forms use -ая. Genuinely soft adjectives use -яя. Spelling-rule adjectives must be learned as whole forms rather than produced by replacing every masculine -ий with -яя.
